with Micro Irrigation: Eco Friendly and
Wealth Creating Farming Practice for
Improving the Livelihood of Women in
Banaskantha.
Project Objective :
- To demonstrate the positive impacts of
sustainable farming --organic farming,
vermi composting and bio pesticide
use--on soil-plant ecosystem health,
soil bio diversity and biophysical
aspects of crop production through
setting up of on-farm
demonstrations.
Project Area :
- Banaskantha District, Taluka – Palanpur,
Dantiwada, Danta and Vadgam and 30
villages.

Monitorable Indicators :

Establishment of 400 vegetable gardens
using vermicomposts and with improved
irrigation devices and demonstrations of
5 fodder plots and farms plots in each.
The management of these farms would be
by SHGs in these villages.
