• To strengthen the income-generating capacity of the SHGS, with a special focus on women;
• To facilitate the groups to develop their managerial and technical capabilities so that they manage their micro enterprise efficiently;
• To provide a marketing outlet in every district and to establish a main outlet in Ahmedabad;
• To establish effective linkages between the SHGs and all major support organizations by creating a single platform for communication;
• To provide market information and develop the capacity of the SHGS for conducting market research;
• To facilitate product designing, branding, design, research, and packaging of products; and
• To provide critical inputs and transport facilities to SHGs to make the products cost-effective.
