INDIRA AWAS YOJANA

	STEP 1 Gramsabha will decide select you as a Beneficiary.
	STEP 2 You will receive an application from the Gramsevak.
	STEP 3 Your application will be forwarded to the TDO by the Gramsevak.
	STEP 4 TDO will sanction your application and issue a letter to you. STEP 5 You will receive an advance of Rs. 2500/-
	STEP 6 You will receive the remaining installments as per the progress of the house.

Core program for providing houses to the rural poor living below the poverty line and houseless beneficiaries.
The program is particularly targeted at households of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and the free bonded laborers.
The unit cost for building the houses is Rs. 43,000 (Rs. 36,000/- in cash and Rs. 7,000 beneficiary labour fund).
The unit cost of upgradation of houses is Rs 12,500/-/
Ban of contractor, construction of Indira Awas.
Under the IAY scheme, the beneficiaries construct their houses themselves.
Beneficiary should have his or her own land.
