Project Title :

  • Leasing Agricultural Lands for sustainable Livelihood for BPL tribal women in Tilakwada, Narmada district.

Project Objective :

  • Raise the income of 100 beneficiaries by facilitating ownership of land and joint bank accounts and leading women towards economically secure lives of dignity and real choices.

Project Area :

  • Five villages – Shera, Navapurashera, Kasunder, Inderama, Alwa, Gangdia and Nander Falia in Tilakwada block of Narmada district.

Total Project Cost :

  • Rs. 21,96,240/-, JFPR Grant 15,00,000/-

Project Duration :

  • Two Year.

Targeted Beneficiaries
(No of BPL families, other households, tribals etc)

  • 50 households will be covered in each year.

Project Outputs And Monitorable Indicators :

    Output
  • Rise in the income/standard of living.
  • Migration will be checked.
  • Improvement in sense of self and well being (mental and physical health).
  • Skill building, knowledge development such as markets, price account keeping

  • Monitoring Indicators
  • Pre and post project surveys will be done to capture the two realities.
  • Availability of nutritious food.
  • Skill development.
  • Leadership roles taken up by members.
  • Number of women benefited.
  • Individually and collectively self-reliance.
  • Replicability or transference of similar kind of work in and around the areas.

Key Implementation Activities :

  • Identifying beneficiaries: Organize meetings at different levels with SHGs, Sakhi cluster and other individual and departments.
  • The beneficiaries are identified in the meetings.
  • Post identification: meetings to be organized with the specific group of identified women. Discuss the detailed framework of the entire programme, mutual expectations, targets and training needs.
  • Related responsibilities are spelled out.
  • Formation of village level committees of men and women to build support for the programme within the community.
  • Develop marketing network.
  • Regular meetings, updating & follow-up mechanisms, evaluation, effective planning, communication, keeping registers, documents, financial and other records & reporting.
